BARFC wish to pass on its condolences to the family of Dean Dent, his wife Sandra, son Kurt (a former Ath hooker), and extended family. Dean passed away at the age of 54 on Sat 6th Feb 2021 and will be sadly missed by his family and those who knew him. His nephew Josh Seldon is a current Ath player. Dean was a self-employed Builder & Plasterer, which would have helped with his strength as a formidable prop. He was notorious for his scrummaging prowess and a strong ball carrier and strong in defence, during the 1990’s. He played some games alongside his brother-in-law Rod Waite. .....
