Ben Howe in his fourth consecutive season as Bridgend Athletic RFC club captain was presented with the Nathaniel Car Sales October Player of the month in the BARFC Clubhouse, following the 44-7 win over Nantyfyllon by Head Coach John Apsee.
Ben who has made 145 senior Ath appearances crossing for 52 tries led the team to 3 out of 3 victories in October. He scored tries in the away league wins over Birchgrove by 16-13 and Skewen by 15-12. The Birchgrove win was significant as it ended an unbeaten 18 month winning run at home for the Swansea side. He also led the Athletic in a 26-3 home win against Bala in the 2nd Round of the Swalec Cup.
