Congratulations to Bridgend Athletic 1st XV players centre Tom Davies and full back Levi Hallett on their selection for The Boys Club of Wales side who defeated Bristol Academy U 18 by 24 points to 18 on Sunday Feb 24th. Tom played on the wing and Levi at full back. A former Athletic player Mason Hughes turned out at flanker for the Bristol side scoring a try.
Both players are still eligible for youth but have graduated to the 1st XV squad. Tom has successfully converted from flanker to centre for Bridgend Athletic and has crossed for 7 tries in 16 1st XV appearances. Levi has just forced his way into the Athletic 1ST XV squad and has made 5 appearances in the team.
They join a further 5 former BCOW players who have all featured in this season’s 1st XV squad - half backs Dan James and Luke Bevan, along with back row forwards Ben Davies, Cameron Thomas and Luke Williams. Former Athletic youth team captain Tom Seldon playing in the same era as those players also represented the BCOW.
