Bridgend Athletic RFC Under 8s hosted Taibach RFC with the Athletic winning 18 tries to 7
Try scorers were Ashton Davies 5, Rudi Quinn 4, Mason Brown 3, Ethan Davies 3, Max Edwards 1, Regan Henly 1 & Jude Lewis 1.

Stand out performers in defence were Mason Brown with 17 tags and Ashton Davies with 9.

After a heavy 53-5 defeat earlier in the season the Ath under 13s travelled up to Treorchy with hope more than expectation. Treorchy are probably the best team they have played this season. A herculean effort saw the Ath boys turn this around for a 36-33 win. A fantastic team effort with every boy playing his part.
Ath tries scored by Shea Duggan, Jacob Hughes, Ryan Jones, Luca Barclay and 2 for Sam Barraclough. Jacob Hughes converted 3 of the tries. Well done boys.

The Under 14's welcomed a very strong Caerleon side to Newbridge fields with the last meeting between the teams ending in a close encounter. With only 18 players available the boys were asked to rise to the challenge and they didn't disappoint, running out 29-10 victors.

From the start the Ath wanted to play a high tempo game and scored from their first possession with forwards and backs combining in unity. It set the pace for the rest of the game with the Ath dominating the breakdown allowing their backs to run in some great tries. 

Ath try scorers Ethan Scourfield 3, Ieuan Bissmire and Callum Duckett with Evan Beach adding 2 conversions. Captain Charlie Ashpole led by example with strong performances from Evan Beach and Harper Chamberlain.

Caerleon never gave up without a fight and ran in a couple of well worked tries themselves.
