Having suffered a heavy away defeat to Mid Glamorgan Premier League Champions elect Kenfig Hill 2^nd XV, Bridgend Athletic 2^nd XV produced a much more purposeful performance before going down by 24 points to 12. They scored two tries to the visitors 4.

 

The Athletic’s tries were scored by lock Ashleigh Harris and centre Chris Walker, with Scott Jones converting one of the tries.

 

The Athletic back row of Rhys Evenden, Jacob David and Liam Griffiths were the pick of the Athletic pack, while all the backs half backs Nick and brother Scott Jones, centres Luke Hollyman and Chris Walker, wings Tom James and Rob Wilson and full back Owen Oats played well.
