The Athletic Youth 2nd XV “The Rags” played league leaders Resolven on the Friday night.
Although going down 22-0 the very young 1st year youth players acquitted themselves well contributing to an entertaining fixture.
In a good team effort coach Kevin Gamble singled out hooker Iestyn Thomas for special mention, but was encouraged that the young team are making progress and are on the right track.
