For information, after 26 years since setting up the Draw, I can announce my retirement as Draw Coordinator this Summer. I am extremely grateful to you all for your support, which has enabled a sum well in excess of £25,000 to be passed to different age groups for all sorts of rugby items from post padding to team kit and rugby balls to training equipment. Parting payments reflect the diversity with a grant of £500 towards team kit for the Seniors and £250 set aside for similar purpose to the Club’s youngest team, the Under 7s, which will come together for the start of next season.

 

The Friend’s of BARFC Draw is of course continuing independently, with fresh impetus and dynamism from the next generation at the Club. Stalwarts, Stuart Morris, his wife, Natalie and Lee Grabham are taking it on and its they who will in future receive requests for grants from the age groups. Please give them the support which you have always given me during my tenure. Once again, many thanks.
